Terms of Service

By accessing or using WYLLOW, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the service. These terms apply to all users, including both free trial and paid subscription users.

Permission is granted to use WYLLOW for personal interview preparation purposes subject to your subscription plan. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title. You agree not to:

• Modify, copy, or create derivative works of the service or materials
• Use the service for any commercial purpose or business advantage
• Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract source code from any software
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from materials
• Share your account credentials or transfer your license to another person
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any content that could harm our systems
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service
• Use the service in violation of any applicable laws

To use WYLLOW, you must create an account through Clerk authentication. We support the following authentication methods:

• Google OAuth
• LinkedIn OAuth
• Email magic links

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your account information up to date
• Maintain the security of your password
• Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

WYLLOW is an interview preparation platform that provides the following AI-powered features:

• Job Management: Import jobs via URL, track multiple opportunities, organize by status
• AI Competency Analysis: Automatic extraction of key competencies from job descriptions using AI
• Interview Question Generation: AI-generated interview questions tailored to each competency
• Practice Sessions: Text and audio (voice recording) response options with real-time processing
• AI Feedback: Structured feedback, performance scores, and improvement suggestions
• Resume Upload & Parsing: Upload resumes for AI extraction of work history, education, and skills
• Stories Management: Create and manage STAR method stories with automatic competency detection
• Accomplishments Tracking: Track achievements with AI-generated skill and competency tags
• Performance Review Generation: AI-assisted performance review creation
• Skill Suggestions: AI-powered skill recommendations based on your content
• Progress Analytics: Track improvement trends, confidence ratings, and practice history
• Referral Program: Share referral links and track referrals

Feature availability may vary based on your subscription plan and may be subject to feature flags for gradual rollout.

WYLLOW offers subscription-based access managed through Clerk Billing:

• Free Trial: New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features
• Subscription Plans: After the trial, paid subscriptions are required for continued access ($8/month or $79/year)
• Founding Users: Users who signed up before monetization was enabled are grandfathered with lifetime free access
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial periods; cancellation stops future billing only
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through Clerk and Stripe

WYLLOW uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to provide core features. By using the service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your job descriptions, resumes, practice responses, stories, and other content will be processed by AI
• AI-generated content (questions, feedback, suggestions) is provided for guidance and may not always be perfect
• You are responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated content before using it
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content
• Background processing may occur asynchronously for optimal performance

You retain ownership of all content you submit to WYLLOW (resumes, stories, practice responses, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a license to:

• Store, process, and display your content to provide the service
• Process your content through AI systems to generate feedback and suggestions
• Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our service and develop new features

This license terminates when you delete content or close your account, except for anonymized data used in aggregated analytics.

WYLLOW uses analytics tools (PostHog and Sentry) to improve our service and provide a better user experience. By using WYLLOW, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We track:

• Feature usage and interaction patterns
• Performance metrics and error logs
• Email engagement and notification delivery
• A/B test participation (via feature flags)

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time
• Impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the service
• Perform maintenance that may temporarily limit functionality
• Update these Terms of Service with reasonable notice

WYLLOW is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or Fitness: We do not guarantee the service is suitable for your specific needs
• Accuracy: AI-generated content, feedback, and suggestions may contain errors or inaccuracies
• Interview Success: We do not guarantee that using WYLLOW will result in job offers or interview success
• Completeness: Content and features may be incomplete or contain technical errors
• Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WYLLOW, LLC and its suppliers shall not be liable for any:

• Direct Damages: Including but not limited to loss of data, profit, or business opportunity
• Indirect Damages: Consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages
• Service Interruption: Damages arising from service downtime, errors, or data loss
• AI Content: Damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content or feedback
• Third-Party Services: Issues arising from third-party integrations or services

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse or attempt to exploit the service
• Fail to pay subscription fees when due

Upon termination, your right to use the service immediately ceases. You may delete your account at any time through account settings. We will retain your data according to our Privacy Policy retention schedule.
